Checking Your ICICI Account Activation Status

Need to know if your ICICI bank account is activated yet? Here are some easy steps to find out.

Log In to Net Banking

Start by logging into your ICICI net banking account. If you've just opened the account, you should have received a username and password in the mail. Once you log in, head over to My Accounts to see if your account is activated.

Check via Mobile Banking

Another simple way is to use the ICICI mobile banking app. Just sign in, and under the Accounts section, you should be able to see your account status. If your account is active, you'll see details like your account balance and recent transactions.

Contact Customer Care

If you're still unsure, give ICICI's customer care a call. Just dial 1800 266 7777 or the number provided on their website. Customer service is usually pretty helpful and can tell you the status of your account.

Visit Your Branch

Heading to your nearest ICICI branch is another option. Just ask the staff at the counter to help you check the status. They should be able to confirm if your account is active and ready to use.

Note: Always Make Sure

Before you start using your account for transactions, make sure it's fully activated. Sometimes, it might take a day or two after receiving your password for the account to get fully activated. Be patient and double-check!
